Während meinem einjährigen Aufenthalt auf Vancouver Island habe ich nach der richtigen Sprachschule in Nanaimo gesucht und Nanaimo language centre war für mich die absolut richtige Adresse. Meine Klasse hatte angenehme Größe, sodass Lernerfolge sich nach kurzer Zeit einstellten. Fokus liegt hierbei auf dem flüssigen Sprechen unterstützt durch Vokabeln und Grammatik Übungen. Unserer Lehrer Andrew hat die Gabe jedes Wort so zu beschreiben das ich die unterschiedlichsten Synonyme gut verstanden habe. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt und hatte auch Spaß am Lernen, and my English is much better now!!!

[To our Spanish teacher] I want you to know you are the best Spanish teacher I have come across in my years of study. You bring enthusiasm, passion and humour to the classroom. I am glad I met you and had the opportunity to learn from you. You have helped me get better!

We just moved to Canada from Asia in January this year, my child Emily is only 5 years old and didn’t speak much of English, I wasn’t able to find a suitable course for her in Nanaimo because she is so young. A friend told us about Nanaimo Language Centre (Currently Encompass).

Andrew is an amazing teacher, Emily can’t wait to go to the class all the time which is unbelievable because she doesn’t usually like to go to school. Not only his class is fun and educational, he also teaches them to be confident and not to afraid of making mistakes. Emily is now able to talk to her friends at school and she’s not as shy as before. We will register more courses for her and recommend to our friends.

I am posting this review on behalf of my mom who does not have Facebook: I have taken Beginner I and am in the process of taking Beginner II Spanish classes. I find the classes very interesting and they have truly helped me learn how to converse in Spanish with comfort, confidence and ease. The teacher is an energetic, knowledgeable, and highly organized teacher who is full of zest. Her classes inspire me to learn more and to master this beautiful language. Her techniques are versatile and adjusted to any needs of her pupils. If you join her classes you will both learn Spanish and have a lot of fun doing so!

Big thanks to the Spanish teacher for her exciting way to teach. I currently finished beginner 2 Spanish course and now have the tools and confidence of basic conversation in Spanish. Her approach to learning is fun and she keeps you on track to meet your language goals. I recommend the language center to anyone who is looking for a fun structured way to advance in language conversation.
