Beginners——Spanish Basic I (A1 level)
The course is for students with no previous knowledge of the Spanish language. It emphasizes oral communication in a variety of topics at a basic level. It covers only that grammar and structure absolutely necessary for speaking. Students will learn how to express basic needs, to understand and use popular every day expressions as well as simple sentences. Students will be able to talk about themselves and others in relation with personal information, physical description, personality and likes. Numbers, Alphabet, simple present and some irregular verbs will be introduce at this first level.
Beginners——Spanish Basic II (A2 level)
The purpose of this course is to continue developing conversational skills. In addition to new vocabulary, grammatical topics will be covered. As in the first course, there will be great emphasis on developing the students’ speaking ability.
Intermediate Spanish (B1 level)
The purpose of this course is to further the students’ conversational skills. In addition to new vocabulary, the past tense and other useful grammatical points will be covered. As in the first course, there will be great emphasis on developing the students’ speaking ability.
Advanced Spanish (B2, C1 level)
Designed for students who have taken several Spanish courses, have a relative fair command of the Spanish language and want to reinforce their language skills. Students will be able to discuss points of view, reason and learn how to use idiomatic expressions and other stylistic resources which enable them to use the language creatively.
